Mandatory zero discharge for concrete production plants
Starting January 1st, 2015 the discharge of industrial waste water from concrete production plants is prohibited. This new measure means all industrial process waste water has to be reused on site. In practice, this water is suitable to make up the concrete. Also rainwater from the site surface can be slightly contaminated and thus deemed as waste water. If all this contaminated rainwater is also reused on site the company can be qualified as "zero discharger" and be exempt from sewage charges. Trevi can, as an accredited expert, guide you in obtaining the zero discharge status.
