Largest dredge sludge processing plant opens in Antwerp

The port of Antwerp presents AMORAS, a gigantic installation for the treatment of dredge spoil, the biggest in Europe. All the contaminated sludge from the port of Antwerp is converted to clean water and a dry residue which can be disposed afterwards. For the project a joint venture was formed by two competing dredging multinationals, DEME and Jan De Nul. The complete digital article is not longer available.
