Oxidative scrubber with polishing dry filter for the removal of dimethyldisulfide (DMDS)
Challenge
Client has 2 storage tanks for liquid dimethyl disulfide (DMDS)
The existing scrubber to control the DMDS emission during thermal breathing and tank filling is not efficient enough and needs to be replaced.
New scrubber comes in Atex zone 1
Result
We delivered an oxidative scrubber with NaOH and NaOCl storage tank, a polishing dry filter, water softener and the complete automation.
Scrubber and dry filter made in electrically conductive PE due to Atex zone 1.
