Trevi successfully launches latest bEtO biofilter installation

At the end of last year, Trevi successfully commissioned its latest full-scale bEtO biofilter installation for the treatment of exhaust air containing low concentrations of ethylene oxide (EtO).

Ethylene oxide is widely used in sterilisation processes for medical equipment and other sensitive applications. However, even low concentrations in exhaust air streams require reliable and compliant abatement solutions. The newly installed biofilter is specifically designed to ensure long-term, stable EtO removal under continuous industrial operating conditions.

The installation was mounted on the rooftop of the production building, allowing the client to preserve valuable ground space while integrating the system seamlessly into the existing infrastructure. This approach reflects Trevi’s ability to engineer solutions that combine environmental performance with practical on-site constraints.
