Fine bubble aeration panels
Efficient oxygen transfer is at the heart of every biological wastewater treatment process. The performance of your aeration system directly impacts energy consumption, process stability and operational costs. Trevi supplies high-performance fine bubble aeration panels, assembled under license of Messner®, combining energy-efficient oxygen transfer with robust mechanical design and low maintenance requirements.
Why choose our aeration solution for biological wastewater treatment?
High performance and energy efficiency
Superior oxygen transfer delivers stable biological treatment and allows a conventional design with low OPEX.
Long lifetime, low maintenance
Membranes last up to 15 years and feature a clog-resistant geometry, minimizing downtime and replacement costs.
Robust and reliable operation
Maintains consistent aeration efficiency under varying process and operating conditions, inline
descaling.Durable construction for harsh environments
Stainless-steel configuration (chloride-resistant up to 1.000 mg Cl /l, or higher on demand and
temperature-resistant up to 40 °C of the medium) ensures long-term reliability in industrial
applications.
Highly corrosive resistant set-up
- Durable membranes
- Different base material options possible
- Standard: Stainless steel 316L / 316Ti
- Optional: Duplex stainless steel for environments with >1.000 mg Cl /l
- Mounted on the floor or liftable frames
- Engineered for durability and stability in submerged operation
Aeration panel comparison
Principle
The MAP is a flat-plate aeration panel (MAP V20M50) that distributes fine bubbles evenly across a 2 m² active surface. It is installed directly on the tank floor, ensuring stable oxygen transfer during continuous or intermittent aeration and benefits of the full available water depth.
Applications
- By excellence suitable for high-loaded wastewater treatment applications
- Municipal (STP) and industrial (ETP) activated sludge systems
- Retrofits or upgrades of overloaded plants
- New construction for aeration basins

Fast return on investment
Higher initial investment is offset in less than 5 years compared to Disc Diffusers or other Mechanical Aeration systems, thanks to significantly loweroperational costs.
Low operational expenditure
High oxygen transfer efficiency reduces energy consumption, while minimal mechanical components lower maintenance frequency and cost.
Environmentally efficient
Superior oxygen efficiency leads to lower CO₂ emissions per kWh.
