The project
This installation consists of 4,860 floating solar panels on Ardo’s storage basin in Ardooie. It is a PV installation of nearly 2 MW on a 2-hectare water basin. The main challenge is that the water level can drop by up to 9 meters. A dedicated anchoring system was designed to accommodate these fluctuations in water level.
